Product Description
A broad glow for a room made for gathering
Stretch out on the sofa, settle in for a film or let conversation carry on long after dinner. The Lumo Cozy 180 brings a broad ribbon of flame to a larger living room, giving everyone a view of the fire. At 1826mm wide overall, it is the largest of the three Cozy models and makes a generous centrepiece beneath a large television or along a feature wall.
Enjoy the flames from your favourite seat
Keep the front open for a simple inset finish, turn the fire into a corner feature, or reveal both side panes for a three-sided view. The 2026 Black Series combines a black rear panel with smoked front and side glass, giving the flames a dark backdrop. Choose the installation style around the way you use the room, so the glow can be enjoyed from the sofa as well as an adjoining seat.
Make the evening your own
Large Charred Oak logs, Lumo Woodland Sprinkles and Rough Crystals bring texture to the fuel bed. Adjust the flame, ember-bed and over-bed lighting to suit the mood, from a softer glow for a quiet evening to a brighter setting when friends are round. Switch on the crackling sound when you want that extra fireside feeling, or leave it off for a peaceful background to reading and conversation.
Atmosphere throughout the year
Enjoy the flame effect on its own during a mild evening, then add up to 1.5kW of thermostatically controlled heat when you need a little more warmth. Use the remote from your seat, the controls on the fire or the Smart Life app to change the settings. The timer lets you plan around your evening rather than keep reaching for the controls.
A slimline fire with a choice of views
The Cozy 180 has a 190mm overall depth and a manufacturer-listed recess depth of 179mm, helping you plan a shallower built-in feature. Choose a front-only, corner or three-sided flame view to suit your seating. It is designed for built-in installation; allow for the fitting instructions, ventilation and clearances as well as the recess dimensions.
Plan a media wall that feels right
For visual proportions, the Cozy 180 pairs well with a 75-inch television. Measure your own screen and wall before choosing the layout. Your installer should check the actual fire, the recess drawing, ventilation and fitting clearances before construction. The 190mm overall depth and 179mm recess depth describe different parts of the unit.
Compare the Lumo Cozy 130 and Lumo Cozy 150 to find the proportions that suit your room.

Questions & answers
How deep is the Lumo Cozy 180?
It is 190mm deep overall. The supplied drawing lists a 179mm recess depth, which is a different measurement. Ask your installer to confirm the opening, finish and required clearances against the actual unit before building.
Can it be fitted as a single-sided, corner or three-sided fire?
Yes. The installation manual covers a front-only inset view, a corner view with one side exposed and a three-sided view with both side panes exposed. The wall design and fitting requirements depend on the chosen configuration.
Can I enjoy the flames without the heat?
Yes. The flame effect can run with the heater off. When heat is required, the fire provides up to 1.5kW with thermostatic control and low/high heat settings.
Which controls and sound effects are available?
Use the wireless remote, the controls on the fire or the Smart Life app. App pairing requires a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network. Flame, ember-bed and over-bed lighting can be adjusted, and the crackling sound can be switched on or off.
What size television suits the Cozy 180?
A 75-inch television is a useful visual pairing. This is styling guidance, not a fitting guarantee or a clearance requirement. Compare the actual screen width with the finished wall and follow the fire and television manufacturers’ installation instructions.
Where can I find the dimensions and installation manual?
The drawing is shown in Key dimensions above and can be opened at full size. Read the Lumo Cozy installation manual before planning the recess, ventilation, finishing materials or electrical connection.
